Raisin’ the Barb Chutney

This Indian style chutney is made with locally sourced rhubarb, and mixed with raisins, onions, demerara sugar, ginger, orange zest, all spice & cinnamon, salt and BC chili peppers for a deep rich savoury topping for roast pork, duck, pulled pork, in a tart, or with your favourite Canadian cheese. We have been testing this product at various trade shows and fundraising events and have been receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews!

Vanilla Chili

This little beauty was a joint venture with Olive Us Oils and Vinegar Tasting Room which resulted in a happy accident! With the valley being full of peaches, we felt compelled to find a devilicious way to preserve and serve them! We considered a jam, (until we discovered how much sugar is required to call it that) a salsa (but there are already so many great ones on the market), so we thought we’d try a throwback to an older style of fruit preserve, marmalade! The first taste is peach as this is the number one ingredient followed closely by vanilla unique citrus undertones and mild heat finish. Serve it with toast/crumpet, angel food cake, yogurt, chicken or salmon!
